Currently we have a very exciting role open due to expansion. The company you will work for is an international company with offices & warehouses in the UK and US. They are a worldwide distribution company for Pharmaceuticals, Medical Equipment and supplies. Amongst a variety of services, this company also offers Named Patient Programs. Due to the distribution capabilities, regulatory knowledge and being fully licenced, this company can help get medicine to people who otherwise do not have access.
Because of the expansion, we are looking for a business developer who has experience with service selling within the international pharmaceutical industry. Your point of contacts differs per company, it can be Commercial, Regulatory, Medical, sr. Executives. You will sell the concept of Managed Access / Named Patient Programs and are responsible for the agreements made.
The region you will be responsible for is Western Europe; Benelux, Nordics, France, Germany, Switzerland. Next to English, you ideally speak an additional language fluently. You will visit the companies and lead meetings / pitches, you will go to conferences, networking events, seminars, round tables, etc. You will work close together with your colleagues in the UK and US, however; you are the only Business Developer in this region. * a minimum of 5 years international Business Development experience within the Pharmaceutical industry
* a minimum of 3 years experience with Service Selling (e.g. CRO selling)
* a proven track record of successfully achieving revenue and profit targets
* Next to English, you speak another Western European language fluently.
