We are looking for enthusiastic, analytical graduates to join our dynamic programmatic media team!

The Programmatic Executive reports into the Programmatic Manager and is responsible for all aspects of delivery for programmatic campaigns set up optimisation and day to day trading. A Programmatic Executive will be successful and enjoy the role if he/she has an inquisitive problem solving mind and can work well with others. Starcom provide a full training program which includes direct access to all leading tech (Google, Amazon, Trade Desk), data (Oracle, Exelate, Eyota) and media vendors (Reach PLC, Media UK, Publisher direct). As you are exposed to all sides of the programmatic buying ecosystem you will learn a diverse set of skills from strategy to buying digital media.

The Starcom Programmatic desk supports the full path to conversion funnel, working on a range of client types from performance (Samsung) to branding objectives (Visa Europe). Our broad appeal allows us to offer clients a full range of programmatic technology and best in class data partnerships. Our omni-tech approach allows us to match client needs with world leading technological capabilities and innovative media delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to, execute, manage, and optimize online biddable media campaigns and programs for agency clients (e.g. auction/exchange based performance media, audience-based buying, remarketing campaigns) both independently and in support of Managers and Senior Traders
  • Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail, and adherence to agency best practices
  • Maintain and organize campaign-specific materials
  • Handle daily campaign maintenance, including internal questions regarding tracking and status of various campaigns
  • Assist in the development of client-facing campaign performance reports, providing insightful commentary independently – making strong strategic recommendations off the back of campaign learnings
  • Manage the delivery of creative assets, insertion orders, campaign artifacts, and all relevant campaign documentation in preparation for campaign launch
  • Pursuing digital ad tech innovation and programmatic operational excellence.
  • Traffic campaigns into technology platforms
  • Run campaign Quality Assurance processes to ensure accurate campaign implementation, pacing, and performance
  • Generate and manage monthly billing and spend reporting
  • Participate in regular knowledge share sessions to share and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance. Pursuing innovation and programmatic operational excellence and leading by example

Key requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a quantitative or marketing discipline (quality experience candidates without a degree may be considered)
  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills
  • Demonstrable interest in advertising and technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and writing skills

Desired personal attributes:

  • Highly organized and capable of working independently
  • Ambitious and eager to prove themselves within the programmatic field
  • Previous digital marketing experience is preferred, but not required
  • A knowledge of digital advertising infrastructure (ad-serving, ad-networks, exchanges, SSPs, DSPs) is preferred, but not required
  • Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities and ability to work without supervision
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
