At Royal London we want to attract the best talent to help us achieve our vision of becoming the most trusted and recommend financial company in the UK. Our family has grown a fair bit since 1861, and as a result, today we have one Royal London Group that is made up of six specialist areas.
Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) was established in 1988 and is a leading asset management company, investing across all major asset classes. RLAM is a wholly owned and central part of the Royal London Group. We offer a range of investment options and manage £123.4 billion of assets (as at 31.03.2019) across the major asset classes. Our priority is delivering excellent investment performance for those who trust us with their assets. We put our customers at the heart of all we do.
Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) is looking for graduates and recent graduates with a track record of the highest academic achievement to join its successful and growing Equities Team.
Formal finance, economic or business backgrounds are not necessary – we provide training – instead we are looking for two key things. Firstly, colleagues with an interest in using frameworks, differentiated ways of thinking and thoughtful reasoning so as to generate advantaged insights. Secondly, an interest in how businesses work, influence the world and can be successful.
The RLAM Equity Team invests £40bn on behalf of a range of clients including pensions, charities, individuals, financial advisers and insurance companies. RLAM was established in 1988 and is a pre-eminent asset management company, investing over £120bn across all major asset classes. Our priority is delivering excellent investment performance as a most trusted and most recommended asset manager.
What will you be doing

This will involve supporting investment teams by conducting company, sector analysis, considering Environmental, Social and Governance factors, attending company meetings and travelling to industry wide conferences all with the goal of delivering genuine insight to drive investment performance.

Additional responsibilities include ad hoc investment research projects, data management and administrative tasks to support the investment process and portfolio managers.
