This internship is intended to provide the successful candidate a great opportunity to fully understand how Wings and Aircraft are designed in the modern digital world. It will also ensure an in-depth understanding of human complex interaction in a full Transnational environment. You'll enjoy it!

Task & accountabilities :

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include

  • Integrate into the engineering team and engage across multiple disciplines (Design, Static Stress, and F&DT) to ensure engineering deliverables (Modification assessments, drawings, models, dossiers, reports etc.)
  • Build an approved development plan covering the placement duration utilising principles from the Airbus Leadership model and core Functional Engineering skillsets
  • Show proactivity and autonomy in organising & learning
  • Show interest and curiosity in diverse technical and non-technical challenges
  • Become proficient by the end of the internship with Airbus Design and Stress methodologies, processes, and toolsets
  • Acquire basic knowledge for wing structure design and practice
  • Acquire basic comprehension of design principles
  • Acquire basic knowledge of product and process integration
  • Acquire basic knowledge of manufacturing process and implication in design and continued airworthiness environments
  • Perform Design & Stress assessments supporting A350 Wing modifications
  • Create at least one official Design assessment for a new modification
  • Create at least one official Stress report/dossier for an embodied structural modification
  • Demonstrate understanding of Airbus Group vision and strategy and its financial performance drivers by end of placement

  • Aerospace

  • Aeronautical

  • Mechanical

  • Computer Science

Required Skills:

  • Passion for Aerospace and Engineering is essential

  • Work experience preferred but not essential
