An exciting fast-paced internship within the UK Corporate Communications team of Airbus. The role is based in Central London but involves some travel to other Airbus sites in the UK as well as internationally. The internship will be for 13 months from July 6, 2020.
In this role, no two days are the same. In response to the ever-changing daily news agenda, which you will be expected to be aware of, you will be involved in a wide range of internal and external communications activities to help promote Airbus with its key stakeholders.
On any given day, the role may find you attending a conference on Urban Air Mobility, an exhibition on Cyber Security, or one of the world’s biggest Airshows, actively involved in putting the communications and social media plans that you helped to write into action. Most of your time will be spent in the London office, where you may find yourself dealing with national and regional media, liaising with our external Public Relations agency, or helping your Public Affairs colleagues organise a VIP visit to the UK.
The internship will give you a unique opportunity to learn in depth the role played by a strategic communications department in one of the world’s leading companies. It will allow you to further develop your skills and enhance your knowledge across a broad range of communications activities.
