The role of the Distribution Assistant is within The Story Lab Global team assisting with all matters relating to format and programme distribution. Reporting to the SVP Acquisitions and Business Development, the Distribution Assistant is responsible for the general organisation of programme and format materials and the dissemination of important information on our slate to the local markets, and general administrative duties relating to the sale and acquisition of content globally.

DUTIES

  • Keeping spreadsheets updated (Including Asset Tracker, Content Pipeline, Marketing/PR trackers and Easytrack system)
  • Uploading content on to Vimeo, SharePoint, website
  • Drafting /creating documents such as sales sheets, sales kits, ratings documents and pitch presentations. (Powerpoint, Word.)
  • Collating, saving and organising format and programme deliverables and materials
  • Market and conference organisation and preparation
  • Circulating information to local markets such as materials, contracts
  • Taking minutes for slate calls and other ad hoc meetings when required
  • Arranging meetings and booking meeting rooms and registering visitors
  • Booking travel
  • Helping the team with general administrative duties when required which may include assisting in processing expenses, photocopying, internet research etc.
  • Attending meetings / events when required
  • Evaluating potential acquisition material for all genres when requested
  • Liaising with local markets, producers and broadcasters when required and as directed
