Overview
Joining our Building Consultancy team, you will become involved in the entire life cycle of buildings. You will follow a training programme aligned to a relevant Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) Pathway through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. This programme is non-rotational, but you will have plenty of opportunities to build up broad experience across the whole department. You will be placed in a diverse and dynamic team where you will work closely with clients and team members on the spectrum of Building Surveying tasks and you will work closely with other graduates going through the same APC process. Opportunities may also arise for experience in Project Management, Quantity Surveying and other similar disciplines if this is of interest.
What to expect
From day one, there will be a lot of variety. You will experience everything from schedules of condition and dilapidations to contract administration and building surveys. Support and training will be ongoing, and we will do all we can to ensure you gain the experience you need to obtain your APC qualification.
Eligibility
You’ll need to be on course to achieve a 2.1 in a specific accredited degree, or already hold a 2.1. A good eye for detail is important too, as is the readiness to get involved in whatever project comes your way.
