Hydrock is a multi-disciplinary engineering design consultancy.

We're passionate about three things: creating high-performing buildings and infrastructure; unlocking complex sites; and being a great place to work.

We bring buildings to life so people can enjoy them, and we make developments viable to transform our environment and infrastructure.

We are known for both our dynamic and entrepreneurial approach to business and our technical excellence. We are also industry leading in the commitment we make to the wellbeing and motivation of our most valuable asset – our people.

The capability, enthusiasm and integrity of our people is at the heart of the business. We take pride in working with our clients to achieve outstanding results and we create a real sense of shared purpose within our business. This is what makes Hydrock a great place to work, reflected by being ranked inside the top 40 of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For study for the last four consecutive years.

From a UK-wide office network, operating across all sectors, we deliver a blend of engineering design skills from structural and building services engineering, to civils and infrastructure design, to site investigations and geotechnical design, through to transport and highways design. Within our business, we have many specialist skills including fire engineering, acoustic design, flood risk assessments, and micro-simulation modelling, and we have a specialist nuclear consultancy business shaping safety and environmental standards in the nuclear sector.
