Task:
The successful candidate will provide daily support to the respective traders and marketers and liaise with all areas within Operations and Finance to maintain the teams strong reputation with both, internal and external clients.
Key activities:
- To assist the respective traders and marketers as and when required
- To provide support for London, Frankfurt, New York and Singapore locations
- To investigate and resolve P&L discrepancies in traders’ portfolios
- To be the principle point of contact for all back office queries and ensure that all are resolved and escalated in a timely manner and amended accordingly
- To amend all trades once confirmed with traders
- Maintain and manage transactions from inception to maturity
- To monitor traders’ portfolios for forthcoming expiries, notify traders and exercise, assign and abandon as instructed
- To monitor traders’ portfolios for forthcoming corporate events, notify traders and action accordingly
- To check Reuters conversations against trades booked, on a global scale
- To monitor and clear the Inbox
- To arrange new accounts, books and counterparties as required
- To liaise and develop relationships with marketers, financial controllers and IT personnel
- To ensure the Roles are completed on a daily basis

Profile:
- Graduated with a 2.1 or above university degree within the last 12 months, and possess a minimum of 320 UCAS points (or equivalent)
- Understanding of Credit derivatives, Repos or TRS products. Previous intern experience of at least one of these product areas is desirable.
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to continuously question and improve processes
- Fluent English is mandatory
- Have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom
