Task:

  • The main purpose of this role is to ensure a smooth operation of the London Branch Management Office and support the London Branch CEO in all aspects of the role.
  • Deal with day to day issues and projects of the London Branch Management Office
  • Coordinate and consolidate existing initiatives of London Branch Management, reports and open issues and, if required, liaise with all business as well as aligned functions.
  • Prepare presentations for the CEO and provide support in the timely preparation for all relevant internal and external meetings, highlighting all significant issues and carrying out all necessary follow up work.
  • Act as Secretary and minutes taker in committees
  • Support the regularly review and assessment of the branch’s governance framework and control structures and timely closure of internal and external audit findings and identified deficits
  • Support CEO in his/her performance of conduct obligations and development of policies and procedures and the general operation of business in line with regulatory requirements
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships within the business as well as other locations ensuring the successful flow of relevant information.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Start Date: ASAP (November 2019)

Profile:

  • Graduated with a 2.1 or above university degree within the last 12 months, and possess a minimum of 320 UCAS points (or equivalent)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Methodical and solution orientated approach to a broad range of tasks
  • Fluent English is mandatory
  • Right to live and work in the United Kingdom

Advantageous to have:

  • Investment Banking experience and knowledge
  • Regulatory experience and knowledge
  • German language skills an advantage
