Role Profile

An opportunity exists for an Industrial Placement to work within the Rochester-based BD team in support of their ongoing market creation and business winning activities within Europe.

This role will offer an opportunity to learn about the BD function in an unusually dynamic and fast-paced environment. It will provide an excellent insight into all aspects of the business winning process. There will be a particular focus on market identification, assessment and development, as well as competitor analysis.

What you will be doing… (Role Duties and Responsibilities)

Responsibilities will include:-

  • Assisting with the creation and delivery of market assessments, covering either new geographies and/or new technologies
  • Support to internal Phase Review of specific business opportunities, including associated research and document creation
  • Helping the BD Manager (Europe) to create and maintain annual and monthly order forecast and status updates
  • Help with the creation and maintenance of sales and promotional materials
