As a Graduate Episerver Developer you will become part of our Continental Europe Digital Business Interactive team. An introduction to Cognizant Digital Business

Cognizant’s Digital Business unit helps business develop and execute a digital business strategy aligned to their business objectives, leveraging digital capabilities and market advantages to produce sustainable competitive advantage. We have experts focusing on digital roadmaps and strategy, UX and inter active design as well as creating the back-end platforms to ensure a truly unique experience end-ton-end both for our clients and our clients’ clients. We specialize in helping clients create successful new business models when facing existential threats from digital technologies that provide competitors with low entry barriers. Your role as Junior Episerver DeveloperYou will work on exciting projects with colleagues and our customers helping them address smaller and larger scale business needs together with our colleagues from other countries. This will be as part of our growing Episerver Content Management Center Of Excellence. Personal developmentPrior to starting your first client engagement, you will attend a three weeks induction program for graduates abroad to ensure you have a solid understanding of Cognizant’s culture and processes. You will have the opportunity for further training and support by our own Academy to help you achieve your long-term career goals, like working with different cultures, requirement gathering, project management, agile development and many more.

After the induction program you will receive:

  • .NET development skills;
  • Episerver CMS development skills & Certification
  • Agile Scrum Training

Once you completed the induction program and initial technical training you will join the Episerver CMS Center Of Excellence and become part of the Cognizant-Mirabeau team that hosts this COE. Mirabeau, a Cognizant Digital Business company in the Netherlands, will be the location of your day to day work. The Episerver COE is hosted in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

The induction program normally starts in January, May and September. These are also the moments when you will start with Cognizant. In addition to your day to day project manager and your supervisor, we will assign a mentor from another Cognizant practice to ensure you get all the help and support you need to start your career on the best footing.

Key requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business & IT, Computer Science, Computer or Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems other related majors;
  • (Preferably) demonstrated ability to develop software;
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (fluent in Dutch and English)
  • Nil or maximum 1 years relevant work experience after graduation;
  • You must be authorized and eligible to work freely in the EU.
