International HR Business Partner
Based in our Amsterdam Center of Excellence, the International HR Business Partner (HRBP), will partner closely with the HR Centers of Excellence (HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, Payroll, etc.) in synthesizing and streamlining HR initiatives across the business, in alignment with key business goals. Your clients will include employees in our EMEA region offices, including London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Germany. The International HRBP reports to the Manager of HR Business Partners.
Responsibilities
HR Strategy
- Advises leadership on people-related strategy and decisions (including organizational design, planning, and compensation)
- Drives collaboration on the development of HR activities, policies, processes, and strategy
- Contribute to HR analytics and look for ways to make use of data to improve efficiency, enhance employee experience and predict outcomes
Business Support
- Provides guidance, coaching, recommendations and information to a diverse employee base, across different countries and cultures. Remit will include:
- Employee relations
- Terminations
- Performance management
- Compensation
- Benefits
- Policies and processes
- Learning and development
- Conducts thoughtful review and analysis of employee relations issues and complaints
- Responds to employee questions and serves as Human Resources expert to the business
- Provides coaching and proactively identifies areas for growth and improvement
- Designs and implements creative HR solutions to drive organizational effectiveness
- Champions a company culture of innovation, freedom of thought and growth, through various initiatives.
Policies and Processes
- Focuses on optimizing current practices and policy to meet the business needs
- Leads client group through core HR processes (e.g., performance management, compensation planning, engagement surveys)
- Completes data entry, validation and approvals in Workday
- Works with teams to ensure compliance with Zoom policies and procedures, governmental regulations, and applicable employment laws
Proactively manages legal risk and serves as a company resource for effective risk mitigation strategies
Bachelor’s degree in a HR discipline is required
5+ years’ experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role
Experience supporting Global fast-paced high-growth organizations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting employee populations across Europe and being involved in day-to-day employment matters is highly desired
- Proven project management experience with the ability to influence the direction of key initiatives and work with others to guarantee deliverables
- Strength in supporting benefits, compensation and performance management
- Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other language is desirable

- Demonstrated competency in employee benefits, compensation, employee relations, performance management and human resource practices and related laws and regulations
- Capacity to remain current with changing laws and regulations, ensuring Zoom is compliant and as programs in place to support these requirements
- Demonstrated sensitivity in handling confidential information
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to influence flexibility and resiliency in the face of change and business pressures
- Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize multiple tasks with close attention to detail and accuracy and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build relationships, credibility, and trust at all levels of the organization, strong interpersonal skills Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both in groups as well as independently
- Excellent customer service, with the ability to present information, make recommendations and influence positively across various levels of the organization while exercising professionalism and diplomacy to accomplish objectives
