The European Operating Center located in Heerlen houses a team of about 500 professionals in Supply Chain, Warehousing & Logistics, Customer Service, Transport and Master Data Governance. Next to that the DC’s in Heerlen and Opglabeek act as a first tier Hub in our worldwide Supply network and as such we also serve other international DC’s of Medtronic with products that are manufactured in Europe.

A team of 65 Supply Chain professionals is accountable for Supply Chain Management for the entire Medtronic product portfolio containing over 80,000 active products, generating over 4 b$ of revenue via multi-channel sales concepts (B2C, B2B) and multiple inventory strategies (Direct Sales, Hospital Consignment stock, Local Dc’s/forward stocking points).

A Day in the LifeWe offer you a position where as a Supply Chain Order Management Representative you are responsible pro-active follow up of key orders , for which you need to identify opportunities to allocate products and ensure timely order allocation. Support key account management initiatives, improvement projects to increase our overall service level and strive for resolving issues with regards to order management. In this position you are the linking pin between Supply Chain Planning, Customer Care and Business Management.

Must Haves

-Bachelor degree in logistics or business administration;

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in customer service and order management;

  • Computer literacy (MS-Office and preferably SAP/ ERP);

  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language;

  • Analytical skills;

  • People management skills;

  • Passion to win;

  • You have a talent to spot area for improvement;

  • Understand KPI and performance settings.

You are a team player, who’s able to build lasting relationships with colleagues in other departments and disciplines.
