PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Translate business requirements into solutions for the Master Data Management tool (STEP) within the Rituals IT landscape. Keeping best practice solutions, efficiency and scalability as key factors. Influences the business to work with the Master Data Management (MDM) application in order to create optimisation of processes.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

As a Business Application Analyst, you will be responsible for advising on business requirements to the Information Manager and translate business demands into STEP functionality. You are responsible for testing and implementation of the developed functionalities. This includes training key users and occasionally providing specifications for 3rd party IT partners. Other responsibilities include:

  • Review and analyse business requirements and write technical requirements; perform and coordinate testing and post-production validation
  • Act as liaison between business department and IT (MDM) and communicate system changes to business
  • Ensure that a consistent data model is in place and take dependencies into account for all development
  • Design standards and policies regarding application and end user customer documentation
  • Determine and design end user training for the application. Facilitates the initial rollout and ongoing training of the key users (and/or process owners)

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in related field and at least 5 years of business/technical experience
  • Experience with Master Data Management and Data Integration
  • Experience working with at least one major MDM platform, Stibo – STEP is preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of software development principles, concepts, practices and standards
  • You have an understanding of development languages such as JavaScript, XML, JSON
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and Dutch
