The Teams 

We are looking for talented Graduate Software Engineers who enjoy working in a fast paced team, learning something new every day and who are not afraid of taking on responsibility early on in their careers. We have opportunities available both within our Development teams and within our Supply Chain team 

Uxbridge/Bedfont  Development Team: 

Our Collaboration team  is responsible for the design and implementation of the most technologically advanced video conferencing infrastructure solutions available in the market today. The team is especially looking for excellent C/C++ programmers with excellent mathematical or scientific qualifications and a flare for applying mathematics to problem solving. You will be involved in the specification of new products and features. 

Design/development of the products and features, working independently and as part of a wider team. Both architectural/system design and detailed coding. Experience of TCP/IP networking, VoIP and Video applications is an advantage. 

What we are looking for 

  • Students who are due to graduate with a bachelor or master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related major such as Math, Physics (penultimate year) 
  • A strong academic background and due to receive a minimum of 2.1 
  • An understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering with an aptitude for learning new technologies. 
  • Creative problem solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills 
  • Familiar with Unix / Linux for the development roles 
  • An understanding of Agile software development methods and working in scrum teams 
  • Excellent ability to collaborate and work together with other team members 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills 

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Final year student or graduated recently with a related bachelor or master degree 
  • Ability to live and work in the UK with no additional sponsorship from Cisco 
  • Must be fluent in English
