We are currently looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer to join our IT department based in Bunnik. The Cloud Systems Engineer performs technology duties associated with cloud computing, including design, planning, management, maintenance and support. This role is responsible for supporting a growing cloud infrastructure and applications environment, including assisting with application administration, deployments, scaling and troubleshooting microservice based applications. This role involves operational response to production issues and driving them to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

•Design, engineering, and administration of: Cloud based infrastructure (Azure, private cloud VMware), Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft's Active Directory, Microsoft DNS & DHCP services, Microsoft System Center Products (SCOM, SCVMM) and network printing solutions

•Orchestrate and automate infrastructure services to enhance efficiency and enable rapid deployment of services

•System health monitoring using tools such as SCOM, Azure operations monitoring

•Maintain and coordinate software updates utilising central update tools

•Conduct root cause analysis

•Day to day operational tasks such as backup/restore operations, Incident management, problem management etc

•Documentation of systems, procedures and processes

•Produce clean, high-quality technical documentation

•Workflow based on ITIL standards

•Assisting with the rapid delivery of cloud services as requested by the customer and internal projects

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

•Building and administrating cloud solutions on Azure

•Proven scripting or programming experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.)

•Ability to build infrastructure for enterprise applications and solutions using Azure

•Experience of automation and provisioning approaches, using tools such as PowerShell, Azure DevOps, ARM

•Azure Cloud Solution Architect certification (Desirable)

•In depth knowledge of configuring and managing Windows environments

•Conceptual understanding of security concepts such as DMZ, firewalls, threat protection, VPN or packet inspection services

•Ability to adapt to new technologies, learn quickly and pass on this knowledge to other team members

•Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

•Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
