About the Internship

You will be part of the Global Purchasing Team that works within the Professional Services category: Information Systems and Information Technology (IS/IT). As our new Purchasing ISIT Intern, you will support the DanIS Team, responsible for the Information Systems of all the employees of Danone globally. You will be exposed to all the steps of the procurement process as well as learn how to manage IT stakeholders. You will be primarily be working on Requests for Quotation (RFQ), more specifically within the coordination in the field of telecommunication.

Your key responsibilities will be the following:

• Source and benchmark suppliers through RFP and negotiations;
• Ensure contracting & application of negotiated conditions
• Monitor quality service and performance of suppliers
• Serve as a resource to resolve commercial issues.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to take lead on one of the various projects this global team is pursuing by taking control and monitoring it through from beginning to end. Within this project, your responsibilities will include gathering data to conduct extensive analysis to be used when preparing strategies. As well as collaborating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders in order to create the most effective communication strategy for the project.

About You

We are looking for a candidate that has a balanced profile of Procurement and IT, ideally with an educational background in one and a profound interest in the other. You have a strong analytical mindset, an eye for detail and have an profound interest for technology and/or telecommunication. You are a data driven person who is eager to learn more about the field of ISIT. You should be ready to put your study in practice and your resilience and self-starting mentality distinguishes you. As you will be working with stakeholders from all over the world, we are looking for a talent, who is able to connect and engage with many people in a short period of time.

There are also some hard requirements that you should consider:

• You need to be enrolled as a student during the whole duration of the internship (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
• You are fluent in English – oral and written
• You can start as soon as possible for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days a week;
• You are able to work in Hoofddorp, Netherlands
