Job Summary

Our clinical operations activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Training & Development Manager in London to join our Study Startup team. This position plays a key role in the training and developing of the Study Startup team through our established training program. If you enjoy mentoring and training Study Startup Specialists/Managers and want to build upon your study startup knowledge to grow your career even further, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and deliver training sessions and workshops;
  • Participate in hands-on exercises and practicums with new Study Startup Associates;
  • Assist in the development and revision of training content;
  • Evaluate effective training strategies on an ongoing basis;
  • Mentor and develop new Study Startup Associates;
  • Participate in evaluation of new Study Startup Associates;
  • Support departmental projects/tasks;
  • Coordinate continuing education training curriculum for experienced Study Startup Associates;
  • Assist in recruitment and interviewing of Study Startup Associates in collaboration with the hiring group;
  • Maintain effective communication with Line Managers regarding Study Startup Associate performance and training needs; and
  • May include direct supervision of junior Training & Development staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with significant clinical research experience, including experience in Study Startup;
  • Advanced knowledge of clinical trials and drug/device development and approval processes, as well as ICH-GCP principles;
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Desire to train and develop Study Startup Associates; and
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
