SALARY - £18,000 + 40% bonus

Job Purpose:  

An internal based sales role responsible for being the first point of contact for Tech Data customers. Delivering excellent account management whilst portraying a professional and confident manner that delivers excellent customer satisfaction. The Sales Person will build and maintain an active customer base and develop new sales opportunities to achieve sales targets.

  • As an Internal Sales Executive (ISE), you would be responsible for achieving monthly / quarterly revenue and margin targets. Through proactive engagement, you will build excellent relationships with both customers and internally within the business. Day to day, there will be an expectation to manage inbound and outbound calls with the aim of qualifying customers, understanding their needs and generating more business with customers that fulfills their needs.
  • Our ISE’s will understand Tech Data’s value proposition and ensure that all service level agreements are met. There is an element of this role that is administrative; you will be responsible for maintaining the CRM system, updating and reviewing pipe line and managing your customer’s backorder expectations and reports.
  • Development is key within our organisation. There will be a plethora of support and training available to aid you to get the most out of your career at Tech Data. You will be responsible for owning your development and working in alignment with our core values.

What we require:

  • We are looking for a dynamic, approachable and energetic individual to join our established team of ISE’s. We are looking for someone who has a good eye for detail and the ability to plan and priority manage. This is a “target led” role where targets will be set monthly/quarterly so resilience and objection handling is key. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal will be essential.
  • We require a minimum of 1 year working experience. Although it would be beneficial, this does not need to be within a sales environment.
