About the job

Our team inspires leading companies, schools, and government agencies to work smarter with Google tools like G Suite, Search, and Chrome. You reach out proactively to show customers how Google Cloud solutions can help them become more productive, mobile, and collaborative. You'll maintain relationships with clients and work cross-functionally to devise solutions and support for Google's clients.

The Google Cloud SMB team focuses on sales to small and medium-sized businesses -- a critical segment that delivers a significant proportion of total sales. As an Account Manager for G Suite, you'll contribute to business growth with our existing G Suite customers. As a member of our Account Management team, you will drive impact both directly with customers over the phone and indirectly via reseller partners.

Google Cloud helps millions of employees and organizations empower their employees, serve their customers, and build what’s next for their business — all with technology built in the cloud. Our products are engineered for security, reliability and scalability, running the full stack from infrastructure to applications to devices and hardware. And our teams are dedicated to helping our customers and developers see the benefits of our technology come to life.

Responsibilities

  • Lead G Suite growth, adoption and customer satisfaction over the phone with customers.
  • Work with reseller partners to scale your efforts through our partner channel.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell of other Google products, including Google Cloud Platform.
  • Leverage customer feedback to drive improvements to the content that we share with customers. Liaise with marketing and product teams to improve the overall experience.
  • Drive reporting/metrics and process improvements to improve operational efficiency.

Though Google has grown a lot since it opened in 1998, we still maintain a small company feel. At lunchtime, almost everyone eats in the office café, sitting at whatever table has an opening and enjoying conversations with Googlers from different teams. Our commitment to innovation depends on everyone being comfortable sharing ideas and opinions. Every employee is a hands-on contributor, and everyone wears several hats. Because we believe that each Googler is an equally important part of our success, no one hesitates to pose questions directly to anyone, at any level, in the company.
