About the job
Our team inspires leading companies, schools, and agencies to work smarter with Google tools like G Suite, Search, and Chrome. You reach out proactively to show customers how Google Cloud solutions can help them become more productive, mobile, and collaborative. You'll maintain relationships with clients and work cross-functionally to devise solutions and support for Google's clients.
The Small and Medium Business (SMB) Sales team focuses on business development in relation to small and medium-sized businesses, a critical segment for the Cloud business. The sales team's priority is to maximize strategic growth from the SMB segment, predominantly through strategic presenting and advocacy, and cultivation of partners. The team also participates in research and experimenting with data-driven, scalable solutions to improve conversion rate and customer lifetime value. As a Territory Manager for the Nordics, you are an expert blend of sales, technology and strategy. Much of your time will be spent talking with customers, discussing and advocating for the value of Google Cloud solutions, particularly G Suite. In addition to having a passion for sales, you also possess analytical and creative skills. As you talk with many customers and partners each month, you will have ideas for how we can improve our product or enhance the customer experience. In this role, you will manage new initiatives or experiments, while also using your ability to manage stakeholders across many different functional teams to execute quickly and to drive success. You will also work to develop the business growth of your assigned territory through campaigns, partner development and marketing events.
Google Cloud helps millions of employees and organizations empower their employees, serve their customers, and build what’s next for their business — all with technology built in the cloud. Our products are engineered for security, reliability and scalability, running the full stack from infrastructure to applications to devices and hardware. And our teams are dedicated to helping our customers and developers see the benefits of our technology come to life.

Though Google has grown a lot since it opened in 1998, we still maintain a small company feel. At lunchtime, almost everyone eats in the office café, sitting at whatever table has an opening and enjoying conversations with Googlers from different teams. Our commitment to innovation depends on everyone being comfortable sharing ideas and opinions. Every employee is a hands-on contributor, and everyone wears several hats. Because we believe that each Googler is an equally important part of our success, no one hesitates to pose questions directly to anyone, at any level, in the company.
