The company is Private Equity owned and is upgrading and aligning its Human Resources tooling and processes to enhance its most important assets: its’ people. The Reward Team, a sub function in the overall HR team, designs, develops, manages and controls the global compensation & benefits policies of TMF. It gives direction and governance to colleagues in each of our 85 countries for managing their base pay, variable pay and benefits programs and owns the global equity program. It is currently also establishing a Global Mobility function, within the team, facilitating our global HR departments and the business with the impact on terms and conditions in case of cross border moves and assignments.

Working at TMF Group offers:

  • Internship fee: €500 per month
  • Great Learning opportunities: you will work in the Global Reward Team and will prepare reporting for the decisionmaking in our HR leadership team and the Executive Committee. You will assist in or be assigned projects in job banding, external market analysis on base pay, variable pay and or benefits. Besides being in the Global Reward Team you will work along with colleagues around the world in reward related surveys, local salary structures, job pricings and so on. During your internship you will learn how a reward foundation gets established, how the company finds its competitive position in the talent market from a pay perspective and how to achieve and maintain a balanced cost base for the desired talent versus the business aspirations.
  • For your thesis/internship paper, you will become expert in an HR topic of our mutual interest. On this topic you will prepare to implement your insights into the TMF practices and share your expertise with the TMF HR community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the report that becomes the basis for deciding the annual pay increase budget for each country
  • Assist in the creation of various information dashboards, eg sales incentive plans and other bonus programs
  • Help with the creation of country salary structures based on local market data and make these accessible in a simple way
  • Maintain contact with HR and business / support functions to obtain information relevant for reporting
  • Prepare reporting to HR Leadership Team and Executive Committee
  • Collect and analyse HR related data (a.o. data on engagement, attrition, reward)
  • Assist in improving current HR processes and tools that are pay related
  • Develop and test thesis on a specific HR topic, potentially develop process, tool or other HR deliverable (for instance scan, DBase, training, report)

Your Profile:

  • You have good knowledge of and insight into at least one of the following:
  • E-tooling and innovations in Human Resources, for example new HR apps/tools that are available
  • Recruitment, Employee Value Propositions, Employee Engagement, Soft skill development, Leadership Development, Organisational Culture
  • Building simple tooling, for instance a competency scan, a mentor DBase a Global Data Heatmap, Surveys etc.
  • You are eager to learn, strive for high quality and are prepared to walk the extra mile.
  • You possess high integrity and are trustworthy.
  • You dispose of advanced knowledge and experience in excel, good knowledge of PowerPoint and preferably a project management tool.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in business English.
  • You have a high cultural awareness and the ability to liaise with people internationally.
