Short description

The Product Manager AWD (Ambient White Dairy) needs to fulfil market demands of several Marketing & Sales teams (for example Americas & Pacific, Future Markets Europe and B2B) and acts as Product expert. Often, commercial teams are located outside The Netherlands (for example Brazil, Mexico, Caribbean) placing an extra responsibility on the role of the Product Manager in order to realize all required requests according to internal guidelines and processes.

Job description

Key tasks

1. Leading in product implementation incl small renovation

  • Translates consumer/ customer requests into concrete product changes or introduction
  • Liaises with internal departments and ensures coordination of all required steps

Manages article request by initiating and following the required process (i.e. Masterdata)

2. Supporting in Pack (re)design and leading in labelling

  • Supports marketing by managing overall design or lithography process including necessary milestones
  • Translates briefing into pack change tasks together with Print Development
  • Connects all required departments in order to smoothly transition to new pack while minimizing cost

3. Leads, coaches and develops interns in support of above tasks

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • On time availability of operational activities, launches, etc.
  • Partly responsible for customer Contribution / Customer performance (P&L) based on FU strategy/ 12Q plans
  • FC Commercial team satisfaction (= internal customer)
  • Agreed number of internal/customer projects

Team details:

The Operational Company Growth Markets & Global Accounts, which is part of our Business Group Consumer Dairy, develops, produces and commercializes a wide range of dairy products within cheese, fresh, ambient and spray can business, targeted at key markets such as Spain, Italy, France, the Nordics, Poland and the Americas & Pacific.

Requirements

To be a successful in this position, you are/have:

  • 2-4 years’ work experience
  • Intrinsic knowledge of AWD products & process (e.g., also detailed knowledge of article request process, specification forms FC, etc.)
  • Basic Project management knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated business planning and implementation skills
  • Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills (English, Dutch)
  • High self-responsibility and -accountability mindset
  • Pragmatic and flexible
  • Dynamic/energetic
  • Entrepreneurial ‘Can Do’ Mentality
