Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager for Hotels & Resorts and supporting the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, the main purpose of the Graduate Financial Analyst role is to provide support in monitoring business performance of the Hotels division via Month End and MI reporting.This includes the month end process, consolidating the Hotels businesses. In addition to weekly senior management reporting, the role takes responsibility for provision of the wider support to FP&A processes for Hotels through coordination of the following items: offline forecast, risk & opps, one-offs analysis and Budget & 5YP

What you will be doing

As a Graduate Financial Analyst you will be supporting the production, on a timely and accurate basis, of the business performance management information for Hotels, to include month actuals with detailed variance analysis, monthly flash forecast, monthly forecast and understanding quarterly EBITA movements. Understand and highlight reasons for main drivers of variances between prior forecast, plan and last year. Liaise with the relevant finance teams to understand and monitor risks and opportunities in forecast as well as impact of current trading.

The role will have the responsibility for supporting the delivery of the following:

  • Flash EBITA commentary and listings
  • Month & YTD EBITA results and commentary
  • P&L forecast delivery and analysis including Risks & Opportunities; ensuring integrity of the financial system
  • Weekly TUI Hotels & Resorts trading report
  • End to End Hotel analysis – review of profitability for all TUI H&R brands and businesses
  • Group Prepayments quarterly review – liaising with Purchasing on aligned review processIn addition, as a Financial Analyst you will support the Tourism SMs FP&A process with support for the MI processes and ad-hoc requests from around the business, including Product & Purchasing and the link with Hotels Division. For the Hotels Division the role will support TUI Hotels & Resorts trading reporting, Magnificent 7 Reporting and End to End Reporting.
