Product Marketing Manager - Mobile and Voice applications

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager for Mobile and Voice applications, with the marketing flair to create and deliver marketing communications as well as the technical depth to interact with automotive customers and TomTom’s technical departments. This includes aligning with many departments in TomTom, like Sales, Marketing Communications, Engineering, and the Product Units.

What you’ll do

  • Understand the customer needs, competitive fields and potential partners in the following areas:Mobile navigation apps (e.g. TomTom GO Mobile) and OEM apps that use our navigation technologies (e.g. Nissan Door to Door navigation);Location aware voice applications, like virtual private assistants available through different IoT devices;Points of Interest enhancements, such as real-time information (e.g. parking availability) and 3rd party content (e.g. ratings); and3rd party content ecosystem platforms /app stores.
  • Own the automotive product strategy for Mobile and Voice applications and be the driving force behind their application in the automotive industry and the value proposition to bring them to market;
  • Influence product roadmaps across TomTom’s technical departments;
  • Develop and maintain product marketing material, in close collaboration with product managers in TomTom’s technical departments;
  • Provide input to the Marketing Communications teams for their marketing and communications activities;
  • Support market development and pre-sales activities by presenting compelling stories to customers, analysts, and journalists;
  • Build a network and lead collaborations with ecosystem partners;
  • Develop sales enablement strategies including training and product assets.

What you’ll need

  • University degree in business, marketing, finance or a related field, MBA or postgraduate marketing education is a plus;
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in B2B product management or product marketing;
  • Experience with mobile apps, navigation, IoT, virtual private assistance, and/or voice technologies is a plus;
  • Fluent reading and speaking English, additional languages are a plus;
  • Ability to relate to architects, product managers and other technical experts for TomTom’s products;
  • Marketing savvy: experienced in producing compelling stories and presentations;
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and influencing skills; and
  • Ability to travel 10 - 20% of the time.
