Raytheon UK have an opportunity for a Software Engineer to join the organisations Transformation Team. This role will primarily focus on the Metrics and Business Plan Deployment Programme, to help them build a data input method and dashboard solutions to record and track metrics from across the organisation. The successful candidate will work with a small team on the programme, whilst also interacting with wider business and functional stakeholders. There may also be opportunities to become involved in other programmes in the portfolio.

The role will be primarily based at the Harlow site, with potential travel to other sites.

Required Skills:  

  • Ability to configure a customised SharePoint environment to collect multiple data and metrics of varying specifications.
  • Translation of SharePoint input data into excel dashboards to show trends etc.  
  • An ability to code in VBA and pull data between applications (Sharepoint/excel/MS Project etc)  
  • A flair for good user experience based design and implementation (ability to make dashboards look professional and easy to read).  
  • An eye for detail and appreciation for good data integrity/structures   
  • An ability to engage with business stakeholders and understand drivers of metrics, enabling both easy, consistent and reliable generation of data  

Desirable Skills: 

  • An ability to create interface between SAP and Microsoft applications to pull required input data for metrics outputs
