FDM Group is a FTSE 250 award-winning employer that recruits, trains and deploys talent globally. We are the UK’s leading IT graduate employer, working with some of the world’s most reputable organisations including HSBC, AXA, Save the Children and Virgin Media to name a few.
The training you will receive at the FDM academy will prepare you for a number of roles such as Business Analysis, Risk, Regulation and Compliance or Project Support.
Business Analysis
As a Business Analyst you will work on a variety of projects or business change programmes. Working across technical teams and the wider business, you will gather and refine the requirements from users and turn this into innovative business solutions. You will develop a deep understanding of the business in order to ensure you are aligned with the business’ strategic goals and will enjoy dealing with people, being able to speak confidently about both technology and business challenges.
Risk, Regulation and Compliance
As a Risk, Regulation and Compliance Analyst you will be an essential asset to the organisation, providing analytical and regulatory support and responding to the combination of technological advances and increased regulation that may affect a business. Duties include Due Diligence, Anti-Money Laundering and Regulatory Reporting, the monitoring of upcoming regulations, performing risk assessments and preparing reports and detailed analysis for senior stakeholders.
Project Support Officer
As a project support officer you will play a pivotal role, supporting the project manager and the wider team to ensure that the project is a success. This is a very busy and varied role and your duties may include project planning, risk assessments, preparing progress reports, monitoring project schedules and budgets and liaising with key stakeholders. All projects are different and therefore the tasks of a PSO will vary so you must be resilient and adaptable to meet challenging demands
The training will take place in an FDM academy in London, Leeds, Glasgow or Birmingham, and includes the opportunity to receive industry recognised qualifications such as PRINCE2 or BCS Foundation in Business Analysis.
Once you have completed training, you will work with one or more of our clients across the UK for a minimum of two years. After the two years, you can remain with FDM or you may have the opportunity to transition to an in house role at FDM or to carry on working with the client as a member of their permanent team.
