More about your role

As a Reporting Accountant for Placemaking and Regeneration (PM&R) at Places for People you will be chiefly responsible for producing consolidated Group management accounts, business plans and budgets, whilst providing financial advice to senior management. Working closely with the Reporting Manager you will ensure that all income, expenditure, assets and liabilities of the PM&R programme are monitored, controlled and managed.

As such, this role will suit a personable individual who can build strong relationships both internally and externally. We are looking for an individual who is diligent, reliable, and a real team player who wants to grow with the business. You must take pride in what you do with a professional approach to all tasks.

You will be a qualified accountant, either ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with experience of dealing with statements of financial position, statements of comprehensive income and cash flow reporting. You must have excellent problem solving skills coupled with strong IT skills, in particular with Excel. Experience of Group consolidation is desirable.
