A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:

OLIVER is looking for a Integrated Designer for our on-site team at Pernod Ricard. The role will be based at the Pernod Ricard offices in Hammersmith. Brands include Chivas Regal, Ballantine’s and The Glenlivet.

We are a team of creative individuals who have the ability to collaborate closely with our client and help them to identify the best ways in which to elevate their marketing offering.

As a Graphic Designer, you will be expected to use brand guidelines to generate marketing collateral across multiple mediums ranging from social media assets to campaign activation. Whilst always ensuring that the creative is of a consistently high standard.

It’s a very fast-paced studio so you must be used to working under pressure and to tight timelines whilst ensuring close attention to detail.

WHAT YOU WILL YOU BE DOING:

  • Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Studio you will consistently deliver a high standard of work as well as collaborate with other members of the Design Team to maximise creative excellence.
  • Effectively manage workloads within agreed timescales.
  • Understand and work with brand guidelines as well as create new and original assets from scratch.
  • Work proactively under own initiative and as part of the Design Team.
  • Client contact will be required, and you will be expected to participate in creative presentations.
  • Simultaneously oversee multiple projects for different stakeholders.
  • Ensure working files are ordered and neat, that folder structures are adhered to, and that work is saved to the server upon completion.
  • Ensure that you reflect OLIVER’s values at all times, through both your client relationships and your work

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:

  • Agency experience is essential.
  • Client facing experience is essential.
  • Ability to work accurately and provide consistent artwork quality.
  • Ability to adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Experience in management of artwork collateral.
  • Accurate and consistent completion of timesheets.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – principally InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Some knowledge of After Effects is preferable, Premiere is also an advantage.
  • HTML e-mails, banners and front-end web design experience is an advantage.
  • Good typographic and compositional skills.
  • Keen eye for photography and experience of using a DSLR camera.
  • Excellent infographic and icon design ability using Adobe Illustrator or similar.
  • Evidence, in the form of a portfolio, of your ability to add value across the whole design process, from briefing through to delivery.
  • Capacity to build strong and effective working relationships.
  • Ambitious, pro-active and naturally curious with a desire to discuss and share ideas.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to present, justify and provide written rationales for your work.
  • Commercial awareness is a must.
