The Key Account Manager will promote and grow the Sandoz portfolio business across North East England and Humberside.

Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Achieve sales targets for Sandoz promoted brands through an effective key account management approach.
  • Develop and actively review account plans enabling optimal use of internal and external resources to drive sales uplift.
  • Create positive environment on the territory for all promoted Sandoz products.

  • To have a comprehensive understanding of the full local health economy delivering patients access to Sandoz brands.

  • Maintain high level of territory knowledge including proactively gaining competitor intelligence and insights feeding back any important information to the wider brand team to maximize opportunities for Sandoz products.
  • Effective cross functional working across, marketing, medical, market access and the wider support functions.
  • To understand and remain updated on the NHS environment both at a National level and throughout the local health economy, including funding streams.

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • ABPI Qualified.
  • Experience with strategic NHS including NHS England, CCGs, Hospital Trusts.
  • Experience or knowledge of joint working with key staker holders across health economies.
  • Demonstrated sales success within the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Desirable requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in a business or science subject.
  • 3 years’ branded (ethical) pharmaceutical sales experience in selling to secondary care specialists.
  • Commercial experience dealing with contracts through CMU as well as local volume based hospital contracts.
  • Good networks and relationships within disease area (ADHD and Growth Hormone) and CCGs, would be an advantage.
