What are we looking for?

We have a great opportunity for an Account Manager to join our growing team within Honeywell Connected Plant to be based in either Manchester, or Bracknell, England covering the UK & Ireland selling HCP’s full product portfolio.

What will you be doing?

  • Sell Honeywell’s Advanced Solutions software products in the assigned region and deliver business results, including sales revenue and receivables and payables.
  • Prospecting on all existing and prospective customers in the defined territory.
  • Leverage or develop local reseller relationships as part of the territory plan
  • Build and execute account/territory plans incorporating software sales strategies to deliver accurate business forecasts
  • Provide assistance to global accounts that may exist in the territory
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the industries, the trends and issues in the oil & gas and chemicals industry in the territory
  • Develop and maintain expert sales knowledge for the Advanced Solution Software Products that are part of the portfolio to be sold
  • Continuous feedback of market intelligence to Regional Business Leaders and Product Management

You Have

  • Minimum of a HND, or equivalent experience within a similar field.
  • Ambitious Sales Expert - motivated by results and ultimately long-term customer satisfaction
  • Understanding of delivering on the AOP, and meeting financial targets.
  • You have strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Experience of working in an industrial software environment.
  • Excellent communicator capable of maintaining relationships with existing accounts at all management levels while also generating new business
  • Capable of quickly translating business requirements into actions by defining "who does what by when" to ensure plans are executed.
  • Remain aware of advances and current thinking in their fields and look for ways to apply the latest technologies and methods to their work.
  • Motivated, self-organized individual who likes to serve customers and who is passionate about sales
  • Strong communicator, with a high level of interpersonal skills, ability to present to audiences

We Value

  • We desire an individual with a HND, or BSc in Chemical Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Experience of working within a Software development company is helpful
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, hardworking, results orientated, problem solver with a positive outlook and a clear focus on driving profit.
  • Balanced between short term achievement and long term development.
  • A natural forward planner who critically assesses their own performance.
  • Mobility is required, given that the candidate will travel regularly to customer sites
