The Graphics Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination of poster art for movie and TV content - including sourcing, producing, QC, and building relationships with content providers.

Reporting into the Graphics Manager, the Graphics Coordinator handles the production and delivery of Vubiquity image files according to schedules with daily deadlines. This includes:

  • producing poster art and episodic imagery
  • maintaining the company database of artwork files
  • managing affiliate artwork requests and inquiries
  • liaising with studios and providers

We are looking for an individual with a basic understanding of 2D image editing, who is willing to gain experience in the media industry. This position will play a key role in delivering artwork in large volumes within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Downloading poster art from all studio partner sites and resizing to accommodate the multiple formats required for domestic and international display of video on demand (VOD) titles
  • Creating unique artwork from studio approved elements to ensure that each asset has an artwork file
  • Producing episodic imagery by taking screenshots of video files and ensuring best image quality
  • Saving images with specific naming conventions and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining an organized file system
  • Ingesting all imagery into an internal automation system
  • Adding banners to poster art to fulfil affiliate specific requests and studio messaging
  • Maintaining relationships with content providers to enable requests for artwork that is not available on studio sites
  • Supporting artwork requests for emerging territories and technologies which require new specs
  • Supporting artwork for internal client requests
  • QC to ensure that title and poster art match and proper formats are associated with relevant packages

Qualifications

  • Some familiarity with photo editing mechanics and techniques
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe CS
  • Ability to maintain a high level of detail and organization while adapting to workflow changes, varying production schedules and able to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience handling the storing and transmission of large volumes of digital files highly desired
  • Creativity with an eye towards detail and perfection of final product
  • Adherence to specification guidelines to ensure that all materials have a unified look and feel
  • Team player who can build relationships at all levels of the organization
