About The Job

You will be part of the Cluster Business Services (CBS) Finance team for the Benelux. We are looking for an intern to support us in our day-to-day business controlling and treasury activities and projects. However – these activities are not set in stone yet: Your input, ideas and knowledge are highly valued.

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze data in systems and processes for continuous improvement purposes;
  • Extract and analyze financial data and create value added management information (KPI Dashboard);
  • Communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders (e.g. such as Business Controlling, Treasury, AP, AR & Financial Control teams as well as within HR domain);
  • Take part in monthly closing activities, analyze figures and communicate results;
  • Help with rolling forecasts and strategic planning consolidate and communicate financial figures;
  • Design reports build financial dashboards for the attention of leadership team.

About You

We are looking for a Bachelor/Master student in Finance, Business, Economics or related backgrounds. You have strong analytical skills, a good knowledge of Excel and you are interested in ERP systems (SAP). You are able to use and analyze data in spreadsheets. You are a good communicator who can deal with different stakeholders and you are able to work independently while still being a team player. Also, you have an eye for detail and are not afraid to proactively reach out to people when needed.

There are also some compulsory requirements

  • You are an enrolled Bachelor/Master student in Business or a relevant field (non-EU citizens are only eligible to apply if they are enrolled in a Dutch university);
  • You are fluent in English– oral and written;
  • You can start as soon as possible for at least 5-6 months, 4-5 days per week;
  • You are able to work in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands;

(This internship position is not suitable to perform your thesis (assignment).)
