Nielsen Brandbank is one of the world’s largest providers of trusted digital product content for ecommerce sites, mobile shopping apps and virtual merchandising applications. With 20 years’ experience in ecommerce content, we maximize the impact of online products for the FMCG retailers and manufacturers, while minimizing the cost and effort to retailers and suppliers. We create high quality content that fuels ecommerce success for our customers, while creating a rich online shopping experience.

You will be the first contact person for a client portfolio, the FMCG manufacturers and suppliers. You will support them to improve the data quality from their product assortment. You’ll be working in a start-up environment in FMCG with coverage of over 90% in the Benelux market. You’ll be a part of a small team of specialists, within an international organization.

Essential for this role is the GS1 Data Quality Program and the GDSN platform, which is a market initiative by retailers and suppliers to improve the quality of their product data available in the Benelux FMCG market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You’ll be part of a team of experts in our service portfolio and GS1 Data Quality Program and you are able to support your customers on a daily basis and being end-to-end responsible for delivering a first class service level to your assigned customers (category captains and long-tail suppliers), delivering against agreed conditions.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships and develop a trusted advisor partnership with key customer stakeholders, driving up customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively contacting customers where we identify opportunities or risks. Identify and assess critical needs and ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer objectives.
  • Being responsible for frequent reporting to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and adequate manner, highlighting the progress of the account, reporting on milestones and share clear forecasting to manage the customers’ expectations.
  • Working closely with the Team manager to identify and achieve objectives (revenue or otherwise) stated in the Operating Plan.
  • Assisting customers with an understanding of GDSN platform and being able to advise and support assigned customers.
  • Setting up new users in Nielsen Brandbank systems and running through full-service capabilities to ensure the new user knows its functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent Dutch speaking is required in case of our Dutch clients;
  • Business English (mostly for internal communications);
  • Bachelor in Business Administration or relevant;
  • One to three years of working experience in a similar customer service role;
  • Excellent knowledge level of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables and macros);
  • Affinity for e-business & e-commerce and/or the FMCG sector;
  • Experience with GS1/GDSN is an asset;
  • Good communication, presentation and explanation skills;
  • Ambition and willingness to create and grow relationships;
  • A customer-centred approach to objectives and challenges.
