Due to a period of transformation we are now looking for a Sourcing Support Assistant to join the Team. You will be responsible for supporting supplier spend analysis, reporting and data analytics; research on suppliers to support the sourcing process along with any additional administration tasks to support the Sourcing Teams across Business Services and IT Sourcing.

What will you be doing

  • Support the Sourcing Teams with administration to support on-going maintenance of a single team-wide workload management and reporting tool
  • Issuing and collecting documentation from vendors
  • Create evaluation templates
  • Facilitate third party and due diligence checks and completion of auditable documentation aligned to our policy

What we’re looking for

  • A passion for Procurement and Commercial Curiosity
  • Demonstrable experience in data and MI analysis
  • Good technical skills – systems, Microsoft Office suite etc
  • Graduate calibre or relevant professional qualification desirable, e.g. CIPS

  • Good analytical skills – a strong attention to detail and capability to see, assess and mitigate commercial risks
  • Strong planning and organisational skills; a completer finisher
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with a range of audiences
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships (internal and external)
