Join our Analyser Maintenance Team on the south coast of England, 30 minutes from Southampton, at our Fawley site, which is the largest and most technically complex refining and petrochemical facility in the UK. We are located on the edge of the New Forest National Park and only 75 miles from London. On-site facilities, including a gym, make Fawley an enjoyable place to work.

Analyser Technician candidates must have experience in Preventative Maintenance, Break-down repair and Calibration of online process analysers and associated equipment.

To be considered for a Maintenance position, the ideal candidate will need to be confident, conscientious, and able to work both on their own and as part of a team. We’re seeking individuals able to demonstrate commitment to working to exacting standards, always paying rigorous attention to safety.

There is the possibility of relocation only for those living inside the UK. International relocation is not possible.

Job Role Responsibilities

  • A good level of computer literacy with an aptitude to learn new systems.
  • Ability to interpret and work from vendor manuals, drawing and P&IDs.
  • Excellent fault finding skills
  • An ability to write, review and follow detailed procedures.
  • Work experience on electrical equipment in hazardous areas.

Expected Level of Proficiency

Maintenance experience on at least some of the following:

  • Gas Chromatograph’s – various manufacturers (At least one year mininum following apprenticeship)
  • Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS)
  • Physical property analysers – Sulphur/Flash/Distillation/RVP/Cloud and Octane measurement (knock engines).
  • Furnace/Process Oxygen Analysers
  • Fault finding and repair of Sample Handling Systems
