Due to growth our Tax team is expanding across various specialisms ranging from R&D, VAT to Private Tax Clients.

Irrespective of team, from day one you’ll gain invaluable experience working closely with clients and our incredible tax team. We’ll also support you with your studies, helping you to accomplish greatness through industry recognised qualifications.

*We're open to hearing from applicants from both the East and West Midlands. Sadly Placement students are ineligible to apply for this role.

What you'll be up to..

Each team operates slightly differently so some duties may vary. However you can expect to do some of the following:!

  • Working closely with clients from Day 1, supported by our managers
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of our clients
  • Study towards your ATT/AAT/ACA/CTA qualification

We take growth seriously which is why you’ll have full support with your studies including study leave, bonuses for first time passes and a supportive line manager.

As time progresses we'll begin to expose you to more advisory work eventually owning your own client relationships.

What we're looking for

Being numbers savvy is a myth; you need great attention to detail and a knack for following processes within legislative guidelines.

As the majority of our work is client based, you need to be comfortable speaking with clients, taking ownership of your work and building a good rapport with people.

Lastly, we want someone hungry, ambitious and keen. The bright sparks ready to learn.

To help set people up for success we prefer students to have a minimum of 112 UCAS points, however – drive and ambition is just as important! We welcome applications from all backgrounds.

  • Unlimited holiday
  • 7.00pm - 7.00am email curfew

We’re no ordinary firm of accountants and business advisers. And this means we don’t give ordinary advice. We work with privately owned businesses across the Midlands to help them grow, become more tax efficient, get up to speed with their IT and much more. We always say we’re not robots. We’re straight-talking and put people and relationships before products and services. This is what’s made us the fastest growing firm of accountants in the UK.
