What will you do?

The Integrity Engineer's primary role is to participate in the various (inter)national integrity engineering projects contributing to the project's success by utilising your Inspection / Maintenance expertise. The work varies in size and complexity and ranges from RBI software implementation thru Inspection/maintenance management services and from simple one-off inspections thru complex engineering assessments such as "fitness for service" or RCA.

  • Your main objective will be to direct and control effectively and efficiently the work allocated to you.
  • Assist in execution of RBI and RCM projects (willingness to learn advanced RBI skills).
  • Management of pressure system risk based inspection (RBI) requirements and inputs/outputs to client’s Maintenance Management System.
  • Formulation of workbooks for inspection of Topside Pressure Systems / Structures and Pipelines.
  • Liaison with (Offshore) Inspection Engineers, scheduling inspection enactment activities for the reporting of inspection results on pressure systems and structural plant.
  • Liaison with onshore corrosion/pipeline/structural disciplines for delivery of specific workbooks/inspection schemes

The position reports to the AIS EMEA Sr. Project Manager.

What do we ask from you?

  • Customer and solution driven.
  • Versatile and flexible team player with good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor degree (B / BSc) in engineering or equivalent recognised experience.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet expectations and specified deadlines of stakeholders.
  • Fluent / Native Dutch and strong English language skills.
  • Knowledge of NDT techniques, applications and experience in inspection of pressure systems and structural plant preferred. Preferably with Plant Inspection qualifications
  • Good attention to detail, able to write clear, concise and accurate reports and also interpret reports from 3rd parties.
  • Adaptable and well organised with a practical minded approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Prepared to travel to client’s sites and facilities both offshore and overseas, sometimes at short notice
  • Experience in one or more of the key Energy business sectors, i.e. oil & gas, power, chemical, petrochemical and manufacturing industries or businesses.
