What will this placement offer me?
This is an exciting role in which you will help to manage GSK’s reputation with stakeholders and customers.
The digital communications team in our communications department manages GSK's corporate digital channels including GSK.com, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Some of the main activities that the student would get involved in are:
Do I have the skills?
You should be studying for a degree that features digital communications or design; examples include Computer Science, Multimedia, Digital Media, Web Technology, Web Development and Web Design or a combined degree with any of these subjects.
You will have strong digital technology skills and be competent with software and tools used for creating and managing websites and social media. Ideally, you should also have experience of using Content Management Systems and graphic design software and understand responsive design and the role of mobile apps.
The ideal candidate will have already designed and built websites and will be actively using social media, either personally or on behalf of clients.
Where will I be based?
You will be based at our headquarters GSK House in Brentford.
When can I start?
Placements start any time between June and September 2019 (start and end dates are flexible for the outgoing and incoming needs of the students and the business). Placements run for twelve months.
