Job Description

The Senior Manager of S&OP is accountable for designing and implementing global planning strategies impacting forecast accuracy, forecast bias, service, inventory levels, and supply chain losses. The focus of the role will be to a) deliver projects that are transformational in nature in the S&OP and Demand Planning areas and b) Design, roll-out and govern S&OP and Demand Planning processes across all Zones through the mechanism of the Planning Playbook. The role will require strategic thinking, problem solving, and an ability to influence diverse cross-functional teams and their leaders.

Responsibilities:

The core responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Set the global vision and future strategies for KHC S&OP and demand planning processes and tools
  • Implement improvements to short and long-term S&OP processes, KPIs and routines while working closely with the Zone S&OP and Logistics teams
  • Develop the Digital Demand roadmap for KHC including the process and technology model, the business case, and the timeline
  • Design, implement and govern process improvements for S&OP and demand planning through the Playbook
  • Review forecast accuracy performance with Zone and Global S&OP leaders on a weekly, monthly basis and define action plans to close gaps
  • Manage annual target setting process for Forecasting KPIs for all Zones and ongoing performance tracking

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ Years’ experience managing multiple Planning functions, including Demand
  • Knowledge of the overall Supply Chain function including: Transportation, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Logistics, fulfillment and forecasting models, etc.
  • Ability to plan and perform root cause analysis, and define clear action plans
  • Strong Project Management skills.
  • Understanding of trends in the Demand Planning space including driver based forecasting, Advanced modeling, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including being an influencer, willing to change, able to understand cross-functional challenges, manage virtual teams, keep strong pace on outstanding actions, and present key messages to leadership
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, experience with planning systems like Manugistics, SAP APO, experience with Tableau
  • English fluency required
