We're looking for an experienced Analysis Acoustics Engineer to join our skilled team in Goodwood, West Sussex, to ensure that all new vehicle launch targets set by the company are achieved at start of production.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Complex root cause analysis using structured problem solving methods
  • Input to shop floor problem solving process as required by Process Leader's
  • The proposal, verification, and implementation of containment solutions
  • Recommendation of permanent solutions and concept changes
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams in analysis activities
  • Collation of requirements from concept and lessons learned to support planned measurement activities on future launch phases
  • Support of ATG checklist activities
  • Expert sensor to the PMP process. Correctly defines and documents topics. Confirms secondary proof of effectivness on time and to process
  • Inputs to and supports API team with virtual validation activities

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified to Degree level in an appropriate engineering discipline
  • Able to demonstrate theoretical knowledge of problem solving tools as well as practical application
  • CATIA V5 and VISVIEW skills
  • Ability to complete virtual validation and take relevant measurements from CAD data
  • Ideally Six Sigma yellow belt qualified, as a minimum must be able to demonstrate clear knowledge of tool and methods to understand application of process capability monitoring and process improvement
  • Clear, structured presentation skills
  • Knowledge of MSA
  • Previous experience of an analysis environment
  • German language exerience will be an advantage
  • Must be an active participant in SE teams
  • Regular business travel will be required
