Our team in Farnborough, Hampshire, is currently looking for a Vehicle Logistics Advisor to join our award winning business on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

This is varied and interesting opportunity to be involved responsible for evaluating vehicle condition reports to determine whether damage and excess mileage invoices should be raised and subsequent outbound calling to discuss and agree prompt payment, negotiating where necessary to avoid escalated disputes.

On a daily basis you’ll be involved in the following:

• Review and process vehicle condition reports, assessing whether recorded damage is outside of the BVRLA fair wear and tear guidelines.

• Communicate with vehicle collection agent and central defleet supplier to obtain further vehicle condition information and query discrepancies.

• Check agreement terms and calculate excess mileage where applicable.

• Check to see if vehicle returned after contract end date and calculate late returns due.

• Identify if any associated vehicle returns costs are to be invoiced to the customer

• Raise all invoices that are due and process returns

• Outbound calls to customer to discuss the invoices due and obtain payment or agreement to pay.

• Negotiating to overcome objections and reach a suitable resolution.

• Escalation point for the Arvato Vehicle Logistics Pre collection function

• Review and manage disputes relating to vehicle collection and remarketing invoices responding within agreed timescales.

Qualifications and Experience

You should have:

• Proven customer service experience, ideally telephone based

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to negotiate to resolve conflict

• Experience in a Financial Services environment is preferred

• Must have proactive time management skills and be able to use your own initiative

• Competent user of Microsoft Office packages; ideally should be comfortable using multiple packages/systems at the same time.
