WHAT THE JOB IS ALL ABOUT»

SMART can be utilised in Rugby to provide Medical, Citing, Analyst and TMO services. In 2018/19 Hawk-Eye provided SMART Replay services in 15 countries to World Rugby, EPCR, RFU, WRU, IRFU, PRO14 and Premiership, covering 755 matches in 51 stadiums.

We are now looking to recruit operators to deliver onsite technical support for Premiership Rugby match day operations. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering world class tech solutions, designed to make rugby safer, fairer and more engaging. This role will include frequent weekend work and potentially periods of travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES »

  • Installation and setup of Hawk-Eye Hardware on Match Day
  • Configure and launch Hawk-Eye Software for Medical Head Injury Applications
  • Liaise and support Match Day staff with operation of the Hawk-Eye System
  • Monitor the system and provide quick resolution for any technical issues alongside remote support
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are seamlessly delivered
  • Software performance analysis and creation of match day operational review

REQUIREMENTS

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU »

  • A strong technical grounding; whilst not essential, a degree (2:1 or above) in a science, technology, mathematics or engineering course or equivalent would be useful
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Bright and enterprising, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiative
  • Time management skills and ability to work in a high pressure, live broadcast environment
  • A keen knowledge and interest in Rugby
  • Flexibility; a willingness to travel within the UK would be advantageous
