Role Purpose

As a Delivery Manager within the Integration Team, you will lead and manage a team of multiskilled software engineers dedicated to the integration development of our back-end e-commerce platform. You will own solution delivery and will be responsible for all aspects of quality and delivery in the development, testing, deployment and production support of software. You will understand and be passionate about integrating, developing and evolving the Group e-commerce systems.

Candidate will be responsible for

  • Being a motivational and positive force for the team and thrive on helping to develop careers and foster lasting relationships
  • Have a good appreciation of how to deliver solutions with demonstrable value and be able to apply appropriate levels of rigor to manage inherent risks
  • Be able to encourage ownership within the team and to support innovation alongside business stakeholders
  • Feel comfortable in challenging business requests ensuring requirements and any measures of success are well understood
  • Partner with the Product Owner and other delivery teams to define and deliver the roadmap

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in managing the delivery of high quality software solutions in the e-commerce space.
  • A good understanding of agile principles and hands-on experience of SCRUM and Kanban approaches.
  • Knowledge and understanding of BDD, TDD, continuous delivery and other software development techniques
  • Experience of and involvement in the use of current and emerging development tools, design principles and technologies
  • Line management and team optimization skills are essential
  • Experience of managing cross-functional teams essential
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience in understanding and discussing other Team’s needs in order to correctly prioritize tasks and manage expectations
  • Being able to interact with technology teams and stakeholders at all levels, given the fact that the Integration Team have interdependence with most of our back-end teams

Experience in translating technical and business strategies into deliverable plans
