The Role:

The Operations team are now seeking a talented Inventory Coordinator to join the team based in our offices in Charlton (near North Greenwich). Reporting to Sinead Kenny you will be tasked with ….

You Will:

  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies that are identified via Perpetual Inventory checks/ad-hoc counts through the company’s warehouse management systems ensuring that SLAs are met
  • Investigate, report on and assess discrepancies in stock levels between various Warehouse Management Systems
  • Evaluate processes within the operation that affect stock levels and recommend improvements to ensure an accurate inventory
  • Assist in the monitoring & reporting of stock accuracy and to maintain daily activity reports
  • Assist the external Auditors in monitoring stock count processes & providing reporting to show evidence of stock counts.
  • Assist the Loss Prevention Manager in stock investigations and to support all stock loss prevention initiatives.
  • Assist the central Finance team in stock adjustment queries & to provide evidence of such if required.
  • Provide data and training to the Distribution teams to monitor & improve performance of stock handling tasks.
  • Monitor new system developments and to assist the UAT team in troubleshooting stock handling issues that may arise.
  • Maintain stock and location orderliness through good housekeeping practices

You Have:

  • Previous experience in a stock control or logistics role, preferably in the fashion industry.
  • Mathematically minded with an analytical approach
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
  • Problem solving skills, exceptionally organised, methodical and efficient
  • Experience using varied Warehouse Management Systems
  • Good judgement and decision making skills
  • Strong customer focus with an excellent eye for detail and be passionate about accuracy
  • A team player with self-confidence, assertiveness and personal motivation.
  • Must have the confidence to contribute ideas to the team and working processes at net-a-porter.com – even those outside your day-to-day remit
  • Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve the NET-A-PORTER offering
