MTS operates the leading platform for inter-dealer electronic trading in government bonds as well as one of the leading electronic platforms for dealer-to-client trading.
The platform is designated by the vast majority of government Debt Management Offices in the EU and in Israel as a venue for Primary Dealership quoting.
MTS Data are sourced from MTS inter-dealer markets’ tradable prices on European bonds. Product offering includes Real-time Data, Time Series, Reference Prices, Reference Data, MTS Live.
MTS is expanding both geographically and in terms of asset classes, requiring new data products to be designed and promoted.
Currently, we are looking for an Analyst to manage the both the business development aspects of the MTS Data as well as data analysis and validation of new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities
This role covers:
- Provide statistical and stochastic analysis for calibration of new products and, where needed, re-calibration of existing ones.
- Direct sales of MTS Data products or via MTS Markets sales team, and maintain client relationships.
- Work with the rest of the team to generate new revenue streams via successful launch of new products.
- Maintenance of our analytics libraries used for market data.
Key Duties
- Deal with client requests regarding historical data and other products.
- Identify and liaise with data providers when required. This involves validating data such as yield analytics or evaluated prices ahead of executing the purchase contracts.Give input and maintain the MTS Data business plan and budget.
- Ensure that the processes involved in the distribution of MTS Data remain efficient and up to date.
- Liaise with the MTS technology team to draw up technical specifications for ad-hoc client requests and for new products.
- Periodical analysis of reference prices and historical data files for troubleshooting and bug reporting.
- Test new products ahead of technology releases.
- Being aware of any developments that impact the data industry.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills
- Knowledge of government and credit fixed-income markets and of benchmark analytics used in investment decisions;
- Skills in database handling and extension, data processing;
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, coding skills;
- Knowledge of Bloomberg’s and Reuters static and non-static data products and applications. Adequate writing skills;
- Preferred fluency in a second language.
