Travelling Depot Fitter – National
This role is working for Select Plant Hire one of the UK’s leading building services provider. The role is based nationally, so flexibility to travel is essential. The rigs are based in Grimsby, however as a Travelling Fitter you will be project based rather than depot based.
You will have good background knowledge of hydraulics, electrics and mechanical fault diagnostics and repairs. There will be opportunity to get involved in Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives, and support working on our social sustainability agenda to support with the local community, allowing people to develop new skills.

The working hours will be as required by sites, this will be core site hours generally of 7am – 6pm however hours may change to suit specific projects and operational requirements.
You will receive a competitive rate of pay. This will be dependent on skills and will be banded according to experience, this will be up to £16.90 per hour. Accommodation will be arranged and paid for and includes travel, excluding the first half hour of the journey.
Sites are generally located around London and Manchester however we have also had projects in the Midlands and Scotland.
