External Job Description
We are looking for an influential and confident Business Relationship Management professional to join NATS as the Head of Business Relationship Management. This an exciting opportunity to make your mark in a dynamic and forward thinking organisation, you will be accountable for the relationship between CIO (IS & Analytics) and all NATS business areas.
As the HoBRM, you will have a strategic view of requirements from customers and will be responsible for establishing and agreeing appropriate solutions to meet the needs of our customers and optimising value through enabling technology and data insight.
You will also be accountable for:
- Developing and nurturing the CIO’s business relationships with senior stakeholders across NATS, ensuring business requirements are fully understood and fed back into the CIO
- Providing a single 'face' for CIO when engaging new Business from within or outside of the organisation
- Identifying and qualifying business requirements, translating them into user stories and working with Business Solutions and Information and Insight to create mutually agreed account plans
- Leading as the ‘translation layer’ between the CIO and the business, promoting services, capturing, shaping, managing and prioritisation of demand for all CIO services
- Providing recommendations on the prioritisation and reprioritisation of CIO projects and initiatives meeting demands from the business
- Developing, sharing and maintaining the CIO roadmap of demand by business area and ensuring that it feeds into the overall CIO roadmap
- Stimulating, influencing and shaping the demand for new services through the innovative application of technology and analytics to critical business goals
- Dedicatedly tracking issues across the CIO and resolving before customer notices
- Working with the business, the Office of the CIO and CIO functional delivery teams to agree appropriate funding and budget provision
Qualifications & Skills:
- Good honours degree in Computer Science, Information Science or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience
- An accomplished, credible and respected business relationship professional with a strategic focus and experience of developing and delivering strategy and plans in a process-oriented, high-complexity, technology environment.
- Validated ability in providing clear leadership, developing high performance teams, and delivering change coupled with business results. An excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Experience of project management and change methodologies e.g. Prince 2, MSP, P30, Agile.
- Experience of implementing business change in a mixed in-sourced/out-sourced delivery environment
- Deep understanding of digital technology and data analytics and their ability to deliver value to internal and external customers.
- Experience of working with a diverse and geographically disparate stakeholder community
- Demonstrable strong commercial acumen
