The job holder will be responsible for delivering day-to-day recruitment activities, with a focus on candidate and customer experience, contributing to a leading edge Talent Acquisition service delivered in line with the People & Organisation strategy.

To provide advice and guidance to hiring managers and HRBPs/Advisors.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Provide advice and guidance to hiring managers and HRBPs/Advisors on the most effective recruitment channels for their roles . Ensure governance is fully met and adhered to.
  • Responsible for creation of appealing advertisements for marketing both internally and externally to ensure we attract a diverse candidate pool.
  • Source candidates using a variety of attraction methods such as LinkedIn and other job boards and searches.
  • Responsible for collation and scanning of all recruitment documentation as appropriate. Ensure awareness and compliance with GDPR with confidentiality maintained at all times.

Trainee Air Traffic Controller (TATC) and Early Careers recruitment:

  • Effectively administer the end to end recruitment and onboarding process (working with the College as appropriate), using the ATS to effectively set up and manage assessment centres and general candidate administration.

  • Maintaining recruitment Tracker and provide data in order to have an accurate overview of the status of the campaign. Escalating any concerns over delivery to the Talent Acquisition Advisor.

  • Proactively manage and communicate with the candidate pool in coordinating the required documentation for medical and security clearances.

  • Administer the annual Early Careers scheme(s) via the ATS, providing advice and support to scheme managers. Where appropriate, contribute to any Early Careers attraction activity.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in facilitation of assessment centres would be beneficial
  • Applied knowledge of Recruitment policies and procedures is essential together with previous experience in working in a HR/Recruitment function.
  • Experience in using recruitment ATS is essential.
  • Experience in sourcing candidates through social media, headhunting, networking, and niche marketing channels.
  • Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality.
  • The ability to prioritise own work load and to cope under pressure.
  • Demonstrate and display effective team work.
  • A passion for providing a high standard of HR/Recruitment and customer service is required
